The Singing Fountain of East Passyunk

Where East Passyunk Avenue crosses 11th and Tasker Streets, the Singing Fountain has stood on a small triangular plaza since 2004. Inspired by Italian piazza fountains, it is known for its cherubs, storks and mermaid, and for the music that plays from its sound system. On summer evenings, neighborhood kids splash in the water jets while families eat water ice on nearby benches. The fountain plaza hosts performances, holiday gatherings and neighborhood festivals through the year.
