Trust & Safety Center
We're committed to building a safe, trustworthy platform where everyone can explore and share the world's most fascinating places and stories.
Read before it's published
A new story goes on the map only after someone on the LocaleLore team has read it and approved it.
Reports go to people
Report a story or a comment and it joins a queue that our team works through by hand. We don't promise a response time.
Privacy First
Your data is encrypted, never sold, and you control what you share.
Moderation Transparency
How we keep the platform safe
Stories are approved by a person, not by software. Approval means a story fits the Content Guidelines; it is not a fact-check. Reports go to the same people. Nobody watches the site all day, and we don't promise how quickly we act on a report. If you think we got a decision wrong, tell us through the Contact page.

LocaleLore is run by a small team. The people who approve new stories also read the reports and the messages sent through the Contact page.
