The Philly Special: Football's Most Famous Trick Play

In Super Bowl LII on February 4, 2018, the Philadelphia Eagles ran a trick play called "Philly Special" on 4th-and-goal. Quarterback Nick Foles lined up as a receiver while running back Corey Clement took the snap and tossed to tight end Trey Burton, who threw a touchdown pass to Foles. The play, just before halftime, gave the Eagles a 22-12 lead on the way to their first Super Bowl victory, 41-33 over the New England Patriots.
