Allen Iverson, drafted #1 overall by the 76ers in 1996, became the most culturally impactful player in NBA history not named Michael Jordan. At just 6 feet and 165 pounds, "The Answer" won four scoring titles, an MVP award, and dragged the undermanned 2001 Sixers to the NBA Finals — where he famously stepped over Tyronn Lue after hitting a jumper. Iverson's cornrows, tattoos, and hip-hop style changed the NBA's dress code and culture. His "Practice" press conference is one of the most replayed moments in sports media.
