The Eagles' 2018 Super Bowl: The Night Philly Ate Horse Poop
by team7 months agosports
When the Philadelphia Eagles won their first Super Bowl in February 2018, the city poured into the streets that night. The celebration was so wild that a fan was filmed eating horse manure, a video that went viral, and police had greased light poles with hydraulic fluid to keep climbers off (it didn't work). Four days later, by one estimate around 700,000 fans flooded Broad Street for the parade, and on the Art Museum steps at its end, Jason Kelce's profanity-laden speech in a Mummers costume became one of the most memorable moments in Philadelphia sports history.
