Wilt Chamberlain's 100-Point Game

On March 2, 1962, Wilt Chamberlain of the Philadelphia Warriors scored 100 points in a single NBA game against the New York Knicks — a record that has never been broken. The game was played at the Hershey Sports Arena in Hershey, PA (the Warriors sometimes played "home" games there), not in Philadelphia proper. Only 4,124 fans attended, and no television footage exists. The famous photo of Chamberlain holding a paper reading "100" was staged in the locker room afterward.
